International Cricket Council (ICC) has formed a partnership with Uber to brace the ICC Women’s World Cup which happens to be the first ever standalone edition of the Women’s World T20 which will run from November 9 to 24 in West Indies.
The global partnership aims to empower women around the world by broadening the already established horizons. Furthermore, a six-part digital film series will be created to celebrate the heroic stories of astounding female cricketers.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ICC, David Richardson, while talking on this association, said, “Uber is a globally recognized brand and one that is committed to the empowerment of women around the world. This is a genuine partnership that is focused on our shared values and Uber’s plans are exciting and complement what we’re trying to achieve.”
