During the first ODI New Zealand batsman, Ross Taylor appeared to accuse veteran Pakistan spinner Mohammad Hafeez of an illegal bowling action in the first innings of the clash at Abu Dhabi. Taylor seemed to make a “chucking” gesture to the umpires during Hafeez’s first over, mimicking a bent arm.
Taylor’s action was not welcomed by the cricket masses who called this against the spirit of the game. However, Dr. Paul Hurrion who has worked with Hafeez in remodeling his bowling action has advised him to not pay head to anyone as his action is perfectly fine.
Moreover, he said that he has been constantly monitoring his match footage and net practice footage to ensure his performance and action remains effective, efficient and above all legal.
