Indian cricket team head coach Ravi Shastri recently complimented his side by calling it the best travelling side in the world.
The former skipper had to face some heavy backlash on his statement as fans called him out for being naive.
In a recent meeting with the Committee of Administrators (CoA), it has been revealed that the head coach has been asked to focus on the job at hand i.e., the upcoming tour of Australia, instead of making such statements.
“Let’s stick to the agenda of the meeting and discuss Australia tour policies. You don’t decide if the team is the best traveling side in the world. Let people be the judge,” said the CoA member in response to Shastri boasting about how good his team is.
