The second unofficial Test between Pakistan A and New Zealand A has ended in a draw after some brilliant individual performances from both the sides.
Opening batsman Abid Ali played a classy unbeaten innings of 105 in the second innings against a quality bowling line-up after missing out in the first innings.
The 31-year-old batsman said that it was quite surprising to see a fast wicket in the UAE as the pitches are traditionally quite dry and slow in this part of the world.
Abid also said that it was a great learning curve for him to play against some experienced players from New Zealand as he has learnt a lot from them.
Abid has been a regular member of the Pakistan A side for some time now and has been playing under Mohammad Rizwan who he regards as a great leader with a lot of experience.
