Mohammad Hafeez has enjoyed a successful return to bowling after he remodeled his action following a ban imposed on him by the ICC. The veteran off-spinner was at his frugal best as he tightened the hold over the Kiwis with his clever loopy bowling in the second ODI.
Often regarded as the left-hander specialist, he delivered for his captain yet again as he deceived New Zealand opener George Worker in flight. Hafeez, alongside Shadab Khan, ensured that opposition did not find easy shots to relieve the pressure and thus restricted them to a low total.
He ended his quota of 10 overs with wonderful figures of 1/31 and followed it up with a handy contribution with the bat in the second innings.
