Since the ball-tampering saga at Cape Town involving Steve Smith, David Warner and Cameron Brancroft, Australian cricket has gone through all sorts of trouble and things keep going downhill for Cricket Australia. The governing body has gone through a host of changes in its upper hierarchy as chairman David Peever has already announced his resignation from the senior most post.
Dropping in his suggestions to rescue Australian cricket from its ongoing mayhem, Aussie legend Shane Warne has raised his hand to assist Cricket Australia to restore order and bring an all-round change. Speaking to a local news channel, Warne expressed the desire to unearth spin bowling talent for Australian cricket and take a strong initiative going forward in every regard.
“I put my hand up to Pat Howard a few times, told him I was available if they needed me. I’ve always been happy to get involved in any role if Cricket Australia thought I could help the team. I’m sure all the ex-players would be the same," said Warne.
