West Indies women defeated England women by four wickets in the 19th match of the 2018 ICC Women’s World Twenty20 in St Lucia on Sunday.
West Indies won the toss and elected to field first. England posted 115 for 8 with the help of Anya Shrubsole (29) and Sophia Dunkley (35).
In reply, West Indies’ Deandra Dottin (46) and Shemaine Campbelle (45) batted responsibly and led their side complete the target in the last over. Dottin was named player of the match.
Both semi-finals will take place on Thursday. West Indies will challenge Australia while England will face India. The final of the tournament will be played at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium on Saturday.
