After some continuous failures in the ODI and in the first two Test matches against New Zealand, fans were expecting Imam-ul-Haq to bounce back and play differently in the deciding Test match.

However, the talented left-handed batsman doesn't seem to find any form and got out cheaply once again in the 1st innings of the 3rd Test match.

Imam was caught in the slips by Tim Southee as Trent Boult got his 2nd wicket after sending Mohammad Hafeez back to the pavilion. Pakistan's top order woes continue as Hafeez is also going through a rough patch since his hundred against Australia.
