Terrific hitter of the cricketing ball, Afghanistan batsman Hazratullah Zazai first made headlines after he struck six consecutive sixes in an over in the Afghanistan Premier League (APL). Since then, the young left-handed batsman has grown in confidence and is continuing to give bowlers a hammering in various leagues.
The 20-year-old, who thus far has only 5 international appearances, once again impressed everyone with his pristine striking after he smashed two back-to-back fifties in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
Speaking on what sets him apart from other batsmen, Zazai mentioned that he is always practicing to clear the boundary, even in the nets.
“I am different from other cricketers as even in the practice season I am trying and love to hit big shots. My dream is to represent Afghanistan in the World Cup 2019 as I am currently in the form of my life,” he stated in a recent interview, indicating his desire to don the Afghan jersey.
