Speaking to the press before the 3rd match, Pakistan’s opener Imam-ul-Haq stated that the Green Shirts are still focused on ending the series on a high note and calling it a matter of obtaining mental strength.
Meanwhile, he described the tough nature of the pitches Pakistan has played in the past two games.
“The wickets are so difficult here. It is very difficult to get a start here, but once you get your eye in, it gets a bit easier to play. In the last Test, the batting department will produce good results,” he said.
Imam has had a topsy-turvy tour with the bat so far. Despite accumulating a half-century in the second innings of the first Test, Imam has struggled in the rest of the innings, failing cheaply for low scores.
