Fawad Alam, the heavyweight of the domestic circuit, has scored a plethora of runs in the domestic tournaments. Despite the struggle of the batting unit after the retirements of Younis Khan and Misbah-ul-Haq, an experienced hand like him hasn’t been roped in the side.
However, the 33-year old batsman shared that he hasn’t lost hope and will aim to continue his sparkling run in the domestic games of the country.
Furthermore, the stalwart who has more than 11000 runs in the first-class cricket promised to remain hopeful for the national team selection as he feels that he has enough capability to play and perform for Pakistan.
“The word injustice hasn’t been installed in my dictionary. I do not believe in speaking out what injustice happened with me. When people stand for me that is actually my win. I deserved the chance when Misbah and Younis were playing and I am still a deserving candidate in their absence,” said by the Karachi born player.
