Wahab Riaz, the paceman of Peshawar Zalmi, currently sits as the most successful bowler of the three-year short history of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). His immaculate pace coupled with his great control helped Zalmi to win many crunch moments.
The speedster, with a stream of sparkling displays, remained the second-highest wicket-taker in all the seasons of the glitzy tournament of Pakistan.
While he failed to deliver much on the International arena, this competition remains his fortress where he has 48 scalps in just 32 games. Even in the 2018 edition, the 33-year old bowler bagged 18 wickets at an economy of a shade under 7.
The franchise is hoping for the Lahore born pacer to continue his thrilling form in Pakistan’s biggest T20 gala as the former PSL champions are eager to bag their second PSL title. The versed cricketer will be back in action on February 15 in the first game of Peshawar which will be played against Quetta at Dubai.
