With a new look side and new owners, the team called Multan Sultans, carrying the representation of South Punjab, will enter the fourth season of the glitzy Pakistan Super League (PSL) with an aim to win their maiden title.
The authorities of the franchise recently confirmed some appointments as the fun-filled tournament is nearing. As per the tweet of General Manager (GM) of Multan Sultans Haider Sultan, former South African all-rounder Johan Botha is set to be seen in a coaching role with Multan.
The Johannesburg born who has a wealth of experience in T20 cricket replaced Australia’s Tom Moody and is eager to aid Multan to make a statement in PSL-4.
Abdul Rehman, who previously worked with the Peshawar Zalmi franchise, will be the Assistant coach while former Pakistan wicket-keeper Moin Khan’s brother Nadeem Khan will continue to serve as the manager and the spin coach of the team.
Multan Sultans will be back in action in Pakistan’s biggest T20 gala on February 15 when they’ll take on Karachi Kings in their opening game at Dubai.
