The Pakistan cricket team has not been able to produce consistent performances during its current tour of South Africa as there have been some good performances on and off but no regular show of force by the whole team.
During the 3rd ODI in Centurion, Pakistan’s Mohammad Hafeez faced his chief destroyer Dale Steyn after several years as the latter has tormented the batsman throughout his career. Before Friday, Steyn had dismissed Hafeez on 17 occasions in 23 ODI matches as he always troubles him with out swinging deliveries.
During their recent encounter, Steyn was quite unlucky as Hafeez was given a life by Hashim Amla who dropped him in the slips and deprived the pacer of his 18th wicket of Hafeez.
Moreover, the Pakistani middle-order batsman did not seem comfortable against the speedster once again as he was unable to score runs freely whenever Steyn came on to bowl.
