To accommodate the top local performers in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) allowed the inclusion of the 21st player in all the six squads for the fourth season of the captivating T20 tournament.
Lahore Qalandars, using their turn, opted for the rising batting sensation Saad Ali who happens to be one of those cricketers who are knocking the doors of the national team. Previously, the 25-year old was a part of the Quetta Gladiators.
The Karachi born player seems to be oozing with the talent which was evident from his astonishing display of batting in the last domestic T20 tournament. Mustering 183 runs at a mind-boggling average of 91.50, the southpaw put his stunning skillset on display. Saad will join hands with Agha Salman, Haris Sohail, Mohammad Hafeez and Ab de Villiers to build a heavyweight middle-order for Lahore Qalandars.
With a newly shaped side, the Qalandars carrying an unscathed spirit will start their PSL-4 journey by taking the field on February 14 against defending champions Islamabad United at Dubai.
