Karachi Kings’ foreign pick Colin Ingram is one of the main star attractions of the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL). The South African veteran batsman has an important role cut out in Karachi’s middle order. This will be the 33-year-old’s second stint for the Kings in PSL, after he guided his team to the playoffs last year with his batting heroics.
Ingram was part of the Karachi lineup that took on Peshawar Zalmi at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, but lost the encounter and missed out on a chance to play the final. Nevertheless, Ingram fondly recalled the passionate reception he received from the local cricket-loving populace.
“Even the day before we arrived, the hype, the size of the banners of players in the streets and you realize how hungry the Pakistani community is for cricket. At the ground, it was an absolute festival,” Ingram stated in a recent interview.
