The Pakistan Super League (PSL) has become a great platform for local Pakistani cricketers to interact and share the dressing room with international players who bring in a lot of experience and exposure to the league.
Former New Zealand wicket-keeper batsman Luke Ronchi played an integral part in Islamabad United’s second PSL title last year as he won numerous games for his side single-handedly.
During a recent interview, Ronchi recalled the previous edition of PSL for which he traveled to Pakistan for the first time. He revealed that it was a surreal moment for him to experience the love and excitement of fans after the teams landed in Karachi.
The flamboyant opening batsman said that he felt like he was part of a festival rather than a sport as everyone was celebrating the occasion with great joy.
