The Quetta Gladiators (QG) would start yet another Pakistan Super League (PSL) campaign this year with hopes of winning the trophy for the first time as they have been defeated in 2 finals in the previous 3 seasons.
In a recent interview, Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan applauded the role of the franchise in promoting cricket culture in the province. He said that the PSL could be turned into a great platform for Baloch youth to showcase their talent at the highest level.
Moreover, Kamal Khan has emphasized on the importance of learning from the experience of West Indian cricket legend Sir Vivian Richards who is currently coaching the Quetta franchise.
The chief minister also applauded Sarfraz Ahmed for being a great leader along with being a full-time wicket-keeper. He has wished him all the very best for the upcoming season as he hopes that the team would give its best just like the previous seasons.
