Despite producing the epic thrillers, Lahore Qalandars remained glued to the bottom of the table in all the three editions of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) which has dented the pride of one of the most iconic cities of Pakistan.
However, Qalandars are adamant to comeback strongly in the upcoming season of T20 frenzy of Pakistan with an overhauled squad led by the experienced all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez. The new look side contains the likes of Ab de Villiers, Corey Anderson, Sandeep Lamichhane and Carlos Brathwaite who are counted among top players of the fast-paced T20 cricket.
The flamboyant Kiwi all-rounder Corey Anderson will hold the crucial position of the finisher of Lahore as the franchise anticipates him to do the job smoothly. Carrying a massive strike-rate of 142.13, the 27-year old player has scored over 2500 T20 runs. Furthermore, his bowling skills would be extremely handy on the slow surfaces of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The Christchurch born player who recently shared his excitement for his debut PSL season is expected to join the Lahore Qalandars squad after his domestic commitments.
