Young Australian off-spinner Chris Green is the latest player to join the list of foreign stars participating in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). The 25-year-old is all set to replace Afghan leg-spin sensation Qais Ahmed in the Multan Sultans lineup.
Green has also previously been part of the PSL, representing the Lahore Qalandars in the second and third season, thus this will not an alien experience for the Aussie. Primarily a bowling all-rounder, Green’s skills with the bat can also benefit the Sultans in providing depth to their lineup.
Qais’ stint in the PSL has been shortened due to his current participation in the Big Bash League (BBL) in Australia. Green is a regular feature in T20 franchise cricket and also led the Guyana Amazon Warriors in the final of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) last year.
