The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is about to start in a few days’ time as franchises are currently undergoing practice sessions in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Almost all international players have arrived with the exception of a few who would join the squads in a day or two.
The Multan Sultans squad left for Dubai along with the new owners and management as they would look to produce better results this year as opposed to last year when they failed to reach the playoffs after having a brilliant start to the tournament.
Owner Ali Khan Tareen traveled with the team to their first camp in Dubai. He found himself in an interesting situation when he was asked by the team physio to come in for physical screening.
Andrew Leipus actually mistook Ali for a player and was unaware of the fact that he was the new owner of the franchise. Ali shared the incident on his Twitter handle as he called it the best part of his day with the team.
