The Indian Premier League (IPL) has become a great platform for local Indian players to showcase their talent at the highest stage along with getting the much-needed exposure to move up the ranks in domestic cricket.
24-year-old Sanju Samson is one player who rose to prominence after featuring in the 2013 edition of the IPL for Rajasthan Royals (RR). Over the years, he has become one of the pivotal members of the Rajasthan squad as he has won them games with his brilliant batting.
Rajasthan Royals (RR) brand ambassador and former mentor, Shane Warne believes that Samson is one of the best young players he has ever seen, and he would be surprised to not see him play for India in near future.
“I am a huge fan of Sanju Samson. I'll be disappointed if I don't see him play for India in all the three formats. He is so good, best young player I have seen from any country. I think he will be player of the series this IPL,” he said.
Furthermore, Warne also predicted that Rajasthan would make it to the final of IPL this year as they have one of the strongest squads.
