The franchise of Lahore Qalandars have continued their tradition of fielding young guns in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). After fielding Kashmir’s Salman Irshad in last year’s PSL, this year the talented paceman Haris Rauf has got the opportunity to make it to the biggest domestic stage of Pakistan.
Hailing from Rawalpindi, the fast and furious pacer was picked via the Player Development Program (PDP) trials in Gujranwala. The speedster contains the ability to clock 150kmph which has already made him the talk of the town as the fans are eager to see him bamboozling the batters with his brute pace.
Vowing to produce scintillating displays, the 23-year old paceman was found extending his gratitude to the Lahore Qalandars management for trusting his abilities. Furthermore, Haris Rauf recalled the event of bowling to Indian captain and champion batsman Virat Kohli in Australia as he shared that the stint has boosted his morale and he would look to implement the learnt lessons in the upcoming season of Pakistan’s premier domestic T20 competition.
