The appointment of the highly qualified Wasim Khan as the managing director of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) back in December 2018 invigorated the fans as they expect the new face to help Pakistan improve its cricket.
After taking the charge officially, the new MD along with the chairman PCB Ehsan Mani held a press conference where he reviewed Pakistan’s domestic structure and promised to strengthen it. However, the 47-year old stressed that he cannot change things using a magic wand. Instead, the Warwickshire born shared that he would first aim to understand the system and then take the needed steps.
“No sudden changes can be brought. I observe first and then plan the things. In first six months, we’ll be making plans to get PCB into the right direction. There is a dire need of making the system strong. I was offered high amount in England to continue but I chose to serve Pakistan,” said by the former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Leicestershire.
