Faheem Ashraf has emerged as Pakistan’s go-to seamer in limited overs cricket over the past few months. Although the all-rounder did not have a very impressive tour of South Africa, his bowling skills are still highly rated, especially when it comes to his shining Pakistan Super League (PSL) record.
Faheem’s bowling abilities were also lauded by his mate Hasan Ali on Twitter recently when Islamabad United’s official account posted an interesting query. After being handed the choice between Shadab Khan, Rumman Raees, Wayne Parnell and Faheem to defend 12 runs in a final over versus Multan Sultans, Hasan picked Faheem out of the lot.
Hasan’s compliment for the right-arm pacer was reciprocated soon by Faheem. It is important to note here that the 25-year-old ended the third season of PSL as the joint leading wicket-taker in the tournament alongside Wahab Riaz.
