Any guesses who is joining the Yellow storm? It is Imam-ul-Haq who has joined Peshawar Zalmi squad as their 21st player. Who would have thought that this lad who was targeted and criticized over nepotism will make his way to the most prestigious league of cricket in Pakistan (PSL) on the basis of his sublime performances?
The young star began his journey from U-19 cricket and made his debut against Sri Lanka in October 2017 and since then he has never looked back.
No one can forget his heroics against the Proteas recently when he won the man of the series award. Imam-ul- Haq has been a prolific run-scorer for Pakistan in ODIs.
Now is the moment for him to make his class and skill renowned at the T20 level. He has played a bit of domestic T20 cricket with an average of 40.61 and acceptable strike-rate of 115.
Imam will play for Peshawar Zalmi in the 4th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). His ability to bat through the innings can be utilized by Peshawar Zalmi in this tournament. Will this be a good move or not? A few days' time will clarify.
