The rivalry of the two biggest cities of Pakistan i.e. Lahore and Karachi is one of the most iconic features of the much celebrated Pakistan Super League (PSL). Courtesy of some mindless batting displays of Lahore, Karachi sits ahead in the head-to-head battle. The two great franchises would once again be found inflating the charm of the PSL.
After LQ owner Fawad Rana, the head coach of Karachi Kings Mickey Arthur has expressed his wish to see the two arch-rivals competing against each other in the final of the fourth season of Pakistan’s showpiece event.
While the two franchises haven’t been able to bring their best game forward, the Johannesburg born believes that the two cities share a great history and rivalry and it would be an exciting affair to see them locking horns in the final of the tournament.
Another exciting edition of the Pakistan’s premier domestic T20 competition will get underway from February 14 with a game between Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars.
