Former West Indian captain and current skipper of Peshawar Zalmi franchise, Darren Sammy is undoubtedly the most popular overseas cricketer in Pakistan right now solely because of his connection with the local fans and his involvement with Pakistan cricket.
The 35-year-old recently visited the tomb of founding father of Pakistan, Mohammad Ali Jinnah, in Karachi. Sammy was really inspired with the life and sayings of Jinnah as he said that it was a great experience for him to visit the tomb of the great man.
After being appreciated by the people of Pakistan, Director General Inter-Services Public Relations, Major General Asif Ghafoor welcomed Sammy back to Pakistan as he acknowledged his visit to the tomb of Jinnah.
Sammy, who never shies away from interactions on Twitter, thanked DG ISPR in return as he said that it is always a great experience for him to come to Pakistan.
