Former Indian wicket-keeper batsman and skipper, MS Dhoni has been an inspiration for players all around the world as he has not only been a great keeper but also a formidable leader of the Indian side.
Australian vice-captain Alex Carey has revealed that he has learnt the art of taking the game deep from Dhoni who is known for his ability to win games in death overs.
“You see Dhoni, he takes the game really deep and generally gets them over the line. I've had a couple of opportunities to do that and just fell short. For me, it's to keep developing that role and make sure I'm there till the end in a run chase like that the other night,” he said.
However, he did make it clear that he wants to give his hundred percent behind the stumps first and then focus on his batting which often gains a crucial position for the team.
