The Australian cricket team has stunned everyone with their first series victory against India at the latter’s home soil after almost a decade. The visitors came from behind to win the 5-match series which India was leading by 2-0 initially.
Former Australian skipper Dean Jones has been really pleased with the performances of team Australia in India after having a tough last year. He feels that the Aussies are well on track with their World Cup preparations at the moment.
“Australia chasing down record scores? Solving their middle-order problems? Using three spinners? Using three spinners? Though this will probably not be their best XI for the World Cup, the Australians are well on their way to fixing the psychological problems of playing against the best team,” he said.
Jones has been really impressed with the middle overs bowling of the Australian team which had kept the Indian batting rather quiet during the series.
