Karachi Kings batsman, Babar Azam has revealed that playing his natural game helps him gain power on the field and get runs on the scoreboard. The No.1 T20I batsman is hoping to forge a good partnership with Colin Munro in the upcoming eliminator match against Islamabad United.
“I don’t try to get something extra during my stay at the crease because my strength is to play the natural game which helped me a lot to put runs at international level,” said Babar.
The Karachi Kings’ opening pair has not been able to contribute massively for their team so far and the match against Islamabad United presents them a good opportunity to make amends to their previous shortcomings.
The 24-year-old, who has played 21 Tests 59 ODIs and 29 T20Is, asked the people of Karachi to show support for the Kings and cheer for cricket which has brought smiles on faces of people.
