Keeping alive the famed tradition of fast bowling abundance, the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 4 has also introduced some exciting pace talent across the country. Although Multan Sultans had a horrendous season in the field, the performances of rising pace sensation Mohammad Ilyas has been a case for cheering the success of PSL.
Hailing from Peshawar, the 19-year-old has had a stellar start to his first-class career, accumulating 33 wickets in just 5 games. Coming at the back of a reputation of hitting the deck and finding ample swing with the ball, Ilyas managed to showcase some his promised excellence in PSL 4.
Highlighting his intentions of donning the national jersey soon, Ilyas has stated that he plans to make his debut for Pakistan in the next 2-3 years. Narrating his journey from starting off as a tape-ball player, Ilyas mentioned how he improved over the years and finally broke into the top tier of players.
