Lahore Qalandars endured yet another horrendous season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) as they managed to win only 3 of the 10 league games. One of the major reasons of their dismal performance was the form of the wily leggie Yasir Shah who was able to pick only 3 wickets across 5 games of the biggest T20 festival of Pakistan.
The Swabi born player didn’t shy away from admitting his failures for Lahore as he added that he should have done a lot better. However, the 32-year old cricketer has been given a chance against Australia as the first choice spinner Shadab Khan was rested from the series.
Sharing his plans, Yasir Shah said that he is completely focused on the white-ball series against Australia as he is aiming to deliver a strong performance and get himself registered in the national squad for the World Cup event. Furthermore, the Lahore Qalandars spinner added that the wickets in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) help the spinners which would provide him an advantage to aid the boys in green to win against Kangaroos.
