Sandeep Lamichhane, the rising teenage sensation of Nepal, had a memorable time in this year’s Pakistan Super League (PSL) as he produced efficient displays of bowling which saw him testing some quality batters of the game.
Finishing with 11 wickets in 7 games, the nimble-fingered spinner registered himself among the leading-wicket takers of the game. To his dismay, Lahore Qalandars wasn’t able to qualify for the play-offs stage for the fourth consecutive year.
Nonetheless, the 18-year old wily cricketer reviewed his experience of featuring in Pakistan to mark an appearance in the biggest T20 festival of Pakistan. The Syangja born added that he had a life-time experience in Pakistan and wishes to come on a regular basis as the country offers extremely passionate fans of the game.
“It was lovely to play in Pakistan. I enjoyed my visit and would wait for another trip, whether for PSL or with the Nepal team. It was a life-time experience. The fans were very passionate and deserved more cricket,” said by the spin king of Lahore Qalandars.
