The National Stadium Karachi (NSK) underwent a massive revamp for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches. The new roof installed has given the stadium completely new look which has further enhanced its beauty.
The former Australian captain, Shane Watson who is visiting Pakistan for the first time in nearly 14 years, has been largely impressed with the NSK facilities and he feels honoured to play there.
“The facilities at the National Stadium Karachi are as good as anywhere else in the world, so it's very special to be able to play here," Watson said.
Watson said it was incredible to play before a passionate Karachi crowd. “First of all, it’s incredibly special to be able to play in front of incredible atmosphere and fans. There is no question since I arrived in Karachi. The people are warm and welcoming, as I have experienced them whether they are in Australia or anywhere in the world,” he added.
