Karachi Kings is one of the most expensive franchises in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and has always made the tallest of claims pre-tournament but have failed to live up the high expectations.
In the eliminator against Islamabad United, Karachi Kings went crashing out of the league by a four-wicket defeat. Karachi’s strong batting lineup failed to capitalize on the good start and could only manage 162 runs.
Karachi’s foreign recruits, Colin Ingram and Liam Livingstone had a memorable time in the city of lights and thoroughly enjoyed playing in front of the stadium full of passionate cricket fans. The two took to Twitter to pay gratitude towards the Karachi Kings management for the wonderful hospitality and hoped to make come back next year.
