PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani said Friday: "On behalf of the Pakistan cricket fraternity, I would like to condemn in the strongest possible way the cowardly, uncivilised and inhuman terrorist attacks on the innocent worshippers in Christchurch mosques."

As a mark of respect for the victims and to show support and solidarity with the New Zealand community, the players and match officials observed a one-minute silence and wore black armbands in the Pakistan Super League fixture between Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi in a show of support for the affected families.

The third Test between Bangladesh and New Zealand, which was to begin in Christchurch on Saturday, was called off after the terror attacks.
