Shane Warne names his Ashes team for Australia

After the end of First-class season of Australia, Shane Warne named his Ashes squad for Australia. The Ashes will take place in July soon after the ICC World Cup 2019. Shane Warne included the inform bowler James Pattinson, who bowled pretty well in the Sheffield Shield.

Shane Warne did not include Mitchell Starc in his preferred eleven for the iconic series against England. He named 2 spare keeper batsmen Josh Philippe and Matthew Wade apart from Tim Paine.

Shane Warne, despite including Steve Smith in the side, named Tim Paine as the captain of the side. Tim Paine was not rated as a long-term captain for the Aussie but after a good outing against Sri Lanka in the recent Test series, the perspective about him changed.

Shane Warne dropped Aaron Finch who had a poor run in Test arena but made an exquisite comeback in the form in the ODIs. With no Adam Zampa and Glenn Maxwell, Nathan Lyon is his only preferred spinner.
