Manjrekar suggests a new way to detect no balls

The Indian Premier League (IPL) has had a couple of controversies so far this year as the no-ball issue during the recent game between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Mumbai Indian (MI) did not please the fans and critics.

Former Indian Test cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar has advised a new way to keep a check on the no-balls in cricket in order to avoid such situations in the future. He has advised the use of LED stumps like technology on the pitch which would ultimately light up as soon as the bowler over steps.

The technology would inform everyone including the players, crowd, and match officials about the illegitimate delivery and would also help in reducing pressure on the umpires who have to keep an eye on the foot of bowlers constantly.
