Wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan is hoping to carry forward his rich international form into the Pakistan Cup, where he will be captaining defending champions Federal Areas.
“Our target like any other side is to reach the final and win it. As an individual, I want to continue my good performances in the Pakistan Cup and lead from the front,” Rizwan said. The 26-year-old represented Punjab in the 2018 Pakistan Cup when he scored 294 runs in four innings, a tally that also included scores of 140 and 124 not out.
Rizwan, who replaced Sarfaraz Ahmed for the ODI series against Australia, had a profitable outing to his name. Playing at his favored position, he struck two centuries in four innings.
