Rajasthan Royals are off to a horrendous start in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The first three games saw Royals getting defeated by Kings XI Punjab, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings.
Life isn’t going to get easy for Rajasthan as they are set to face quality opponents in next few games. Despite being in a strong position in all the three games, Royals let the opportunities slip through their hands.
Skipper Ajinkya Rahane is extremely disappointed to see his team going down again and again as he is aware of the challenges awaiting his franchise. Dissecting the defeats, the 30-year old batsman has urged his unit to raise the bar of their game. Moreover, the Maharashtra born highlighted the significance of winning the crucial moments of the game.
“We need to take responsibility for the losses. We win as a team and we lose as a team. If we win smaller moments, we’ll do well in the game. Hopefully, we’ll be able to turn around in the upcoming games,” said by Rahane while sharing his feelings.
