Pakistan’s head coach, Mickey Arthur has heaped praise on youngster Mohammad Hasnain, stating that he is excited about him due to the speed he can bowl at. Hasnain made his international debut in the recently concluded ODI series against Australia, and featured in three matches, where he took two wickets at an average of 78.
“I'm excited about Hasnain, there's a lot of work to do with him. He needs to get fitter & he needs to work on his fielding. But raw pace and raw talent he has in abundance. He's got everything & he's going to be very exciting for us," Mickey said.
Mickey compared Hasnain with Shaheen Afridi, who is also of same age, and believes that they will take the same path, just a year apart.
Hasnain got his national cup after stealing the spotlight in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), where he claimed 12 wickets in seven games for Quetta Gladiators at an average of 17.58.
