Mir Hamza, the left-arm medium pacer, joins England's county cricket club Sussex. Hailing from Karachi, the 26-year old made his way from the streets of Sindh to the Sussex County club of England. Hamza made his Test debut for Pakistan against Australia in October 2018. He has played only one Test match for Pakistan. Mir Hamza was called up by Sussex Cricket Club for the county season 2019.
Talking to the media, Hamza added, " It was very exciting to see the environment and atmosphere at the club. The facilities including the swimming pool and Gym was very exhilarating".
Mir Hamza has grabbed 282 scalps in 59 First-class games he played at an average of 18.34. He would surely enjoy his outing in the seeming conditions in England and will look to make his way back to the national side with good performances for Sussex.
