England all-rounder Sam Curran claimed a hat-trick as he took four wickets in just five balls to script a resounding come back for Kings XI Punjab against Delhi Capitals.
The hat-trick came in two overs- Harshal Patel was dismissed at the end of the 18th over and then the 20-year-old sent Kagiso Rabada and Sandeep Lamichhane off successive balls at the start of the 20th over.
"When we won the game, one of the players came up to me and said 'you've got a hat-trick'. I had absolutely no idea I had taken one," Curran said in a post-match interview.
Curran, who had earlier scored 20 from 10 balls in a total of 166 for nine, finished with figures of four for 11 from 2.2 overs.
