The dashing opening batsman of Pakistan, Ahmad Shahzad is currently enjoying his good form with the bat as he scored yet another half-century in the first match of the Pakistan Cup 2019.
After having a successful stint with the Quetta Gladiators, Shahzad is keen to carry his form in the 50-overs cricket as well.
However, Shahzad dropped a simple catch in the last over of the match when 3 runs were required off 4 balls and Khushdil Shah was striking the ball nicely.
Shahzad instantly asked for a review after dropping the catch and the replay showed that the ball had clearly touched the ground.
This incident reminded everyone of the ODI match between Pakistan & Sri Lanka in 2014 where Shahzad tried to grab the catch of Lahiru Thirimanne. Initially, Shahzad thought that he had caught the catch but similarly the ball had touched the ground at that time as well.
