The Balochistan team led by the Test batsman of Pakistan Asad Shafiq have won their 2nd consecutive match of the tournament.
In their all-important encounter against Sindh, Balochistan registered a humongous total of 346-9 in their 50 overs.
Opener Zeeshan Ashraf scored 75 off 75 with 9 fours and a six. However, in the middle order, Umar Akmal once again plundered the Sindh bowlers to all parts of the ground as he missed out on his 2nd consecutive ton of the tournament by just one run.
Akmal scored 99 with 6 sixes and 7 fours. Akmal’s 99 runs came off just 66 balls and his strike rate was the highlight of his innings.
Captain Asad Shafiq also scored a handy half-century but it was Amad Butt who took his team to a huge total of 346.
Butt scored 42* off 18 balls with 5 fours and 3 massive sixes. In reply, the team from Sindh couldn’t manage to held their innings together as they lost wickets on regular intervals.
