The left-handed keeper batsman, Umar Siddiq, who also represented Multan Sultans in PSL 2019 was off to an astonishing start against Baluchistan. Playing for Sindh, he scored 88 off just 64 balls. His innings comprised of 12 fours and 2 gigantic sixes.
Although his knock went in vain as Baluchistan won the match comprehensively, his performance with the bat was impeccable. He also impressed the viewers during the PSL 4 with his batting skills. Umar Siddiq can be a complete wicket-keeper package for Pakistan in the future.
The 26-year old has a glimpse of class and caliber to succeed at the International level. If he continues on his merry way in the domestic cricket, his selection for the national team is not far away.
