Amad Butt showed his all-around ability during the match against Sindh in the on-going Pakistan Cup. Playing for Balochistan, he scored a firey 42 of just 18 balls including 5 fours and 3 sixes. He also picked up 3-wickets in his 10-overs quota and was later named as "Man of the match".
The 23-year old expressed his views on his performance and said, " I enjoy batting more than the bowling. I was waiting for this opportunity for a long time." "Club cricket helped me ameliorate my batting skills", he added.
Amad Butt's power-hitting show grabbed the attention of many veterans as this sort of player is what Pakistan's management is looking for. Though still a long way to go until he proves himself as a capable candidate for the International arena, this certainly was one performance to remember.
