Brian Lara wants consistency from the West Indies

The unpredictable team, Windies, has seemed to lost its winning habit over the last couple of decades. The 2-times World Cup champions did not have a lot to write home about in the recent era.

On their day, they can demolish the opposition and on others, they are absolutely ordinary. Brian Charles Lara, the legendary former West Indian batsman, showed his concern over the lack of consistency in the West Indies cricket team.

He said, "The West Indies have match-winners, but that is not enough to play in English conditions and win the World Cup. We need a team that is consistent". Referring to their mercurial nature Lara added, " once they are in the knock-out, they can beat any team, we have seen that in the past".

The Windies team can prove to be a dark horse in the ICC World Cup 2019. The amount of power they possess was on display against England in the recent ODI series. All they want is consistency from their players throughout the mega-event.
