Pakistan’s top performer in domestic cricket, Mir Hamza is currently in England representing Sussex for his debut County Championship stint. In what will be a steep learning curve for the rising pace sensation, Hamza put up an impressive show on his first day of the County season.
The left-armer registered figures of 3/36 and generated great seam movement off the surface to hamper the batsmen’s scoring rate. Talking about this newfound success in England, Hamza credited Sussex coach Jason Gillespie for his efforts.
“Jason Gillespie is a legendary bowler. I’m very lucky that he is a coach of mine at Sussex and I feel proud for that. I’ll learn a lot from him,” Hamza stated.
